MRKT.NG is operated by Travis Wright as a FourthWeb production. This page says what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. It is written to be read.
What we collect
A free reader account asks for three things: your name, your company, and your email address. That is the whole list. We use them to send the chapter drops you signed up for, verify that your address is real, and greet you like a person instead of a record.
If you buy the Canon Pass or any skill, payment runs through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar handles your card details on their systems; we never see or store card numbers. We receive your name, email, and what you bought, so we can grant access and help you if something breaks.
Your reading progress and theme preference live in your own browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
What we do with it
Email you the Monday chapter drops, receipts, access instructions, and occasional product news from MRKT.NG. That's it. We do not sell your data, rent it, trade it, or run ads against it. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works on the first click.
Who else touches it
Two vendors, each doing one job: Kit delivers our email, and Polar processes payments. Both are bound by their own privacy policies and receive only what they need to do that job.
Chapter pages link to the original books on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, MRKT.NG earns from qualifying purchases. Clicking those links tells Amazon you came from us; we send them nothing about you.
Analytics
As of the date above, this site runs no analytics or tracking scripts. If we ever add measurement, it will be a privacy-respecting tool without cross-site tracking, and this page will say so before it happens.
Your controls
Unsubscribe from any email instantly via the link at the bottom. Want your account data deleted entirely? Email tw@traviswright.com and it's gone. No retention games, no exit interview.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything material gets called out in the next drop email.
